Solo - Fakultas Kedokteran (FK) Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS) bekerjasama dengan RSUD Karanganyar menggelar Seminar Nasional bertemakan Up-date Manajemen Komprehensif Rhinitis Alergi dan Asma pada Senin (9/11) di Hotel Novotel Solo.  Dilanjutkan Workshop Pelatihan Bedah Sinus Endoskopi Fungsional pada Selasa (10/11) di RSUD Karanganyar.

            Tampil sebagai pembicara pada Seminar tersebut, antara lain : Ahli Paru Prof. Dr. dr. H Suradi, Sp. P(K) MARS; Pengajar FK UMS Dr. H. Djoko Sindusakti, Sp. THT-KL (K), MBA, MARS, M.Si; Kepala Bagian THT RSUD Karanganyar Dr. H. Iwan Setiawan Adji, Sp.THT-KL; dan Ketua IDI Cab Solo Dr. Ganung Harsono, Sp. A (K).

            “Hampir tiga perempat kasus rhinitis disertai asma, dan pada kasus rhinitis-asma yang muncul bersama, sering rhinitis tidak terobati karena perhatian penderita dan dokternya lebih focus ke penanganan asma, sehingga terapi menjadi tidak efektif,” jelas Dekan FK UMS dr. Bakri B Hasbullah, Sp.B, FINACS terkait latar belakang penyelenggaraan Seminar.

            Tujuan diadakan Seminar dan Workshop, antara lain : meningkatkan kemampuan Tim Work Rhinitis-Asma, dan permasalahan dokter THT-KL daerah tereliminasi. (Eko Prasetyo)
